A Better Online Experience For All

Yahoo is committed to providing the very best online user experience to all individuals, disabled and non-disabled alike. As a result, we strive to make sure that our sites are as accessible, as friendly, and as easy to use as possible. By keeping in close contact with members of various disability communities around the world, we are able to learn early on where unanticipated obstacles may arise, and to remove these obstacles as efficiently as possible.

In 2008, Yahoo!'s 15-person Global Accessibility Team created an Accessibility Lab that is open to everyone inside the company and helps engineers and designers in particular, understand how children and adults with disability use personal computers and access the Internet. In 2009, we opened a similar lab for our engineers and designers in Bangalore, India to make sure that our accessibility commitment manifests itself on a global scale.

Yahoo!'s commitment to accessibility is not only socially responsible but also a reflection of our mainstream business practices. Yahoo! fundamentally respects its customers. Each and every one.
