World AIDS Day

For World AIDS Day 2008, Yahoo! teamed up with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) to raise funds to eradicate this deadly disease. An animated candlelight vigil was held on the Yahoo! logo on the front page, connecting users to a World AIDS Day Website, where they could donate to EGPAF, explore a map of the number of people affected by AIDS worldwide, and read stories of hope by people who are living with HIV all over the world.
