Celebrating Gay Pride.

This year, Yahoo! celebrated Gay Pride Season with a special microsite devoted to the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community. The site offered a one-stop shop for all things Pride. Users could get travel and destination information, community-building tools, and hook up with great volunteer opportunities. Users could also groove to the gay club anthems on Yahoo! Music, meet their matches on Yahoo! Personals, take pride in going on an LGBT-friendly spree on Yahoo! Shopping, and much more.

Yahoo! Pride created a special promotion that raised money to support gay youth. For every photo uploaded to the Worldwide Pride Pool on Flickr, Yahoo! donated $1 to the Point Foundation, which offers college scholarships to marginalized LGBT youth.
