Stephen Colbert wants YOU to support our troops' kids.

Yahoo! is a big fan and longtime supporter of DonorsChoose. Last month, Stephen Colbert from the Colbert Report, partnered with DonorsChoose to help raise awareness for the Support the Troops by Supporting Their Children campaign. This initiative is aimed at raising money for military-serving public schools by inspiring individuals to fund school projects.

This campaign also fuels a fun competition among the five branches of the Armed Forces to see which branch's supporters can have the biggest impact on classrooms.

In support, Yahoo! recently launched new gear on Yahoo! Avatars to help get the word out about this in a delightful way. So, if you care about education and are a Colbert enthusiast, dress yourself up to show the world you are supporting the troops!
