Our Recycling Program

Yahoo! reduces, reuses, and recycles everything from water to cardboard to computers. This amounts to more than 85,000 pounds of material each month that we keep out of landfills. See below for examples of items we recycle:

• Electronic waste including computers, batteries, and fluorescent lamps are collected and sorted for reuse or responsible recycling. We also sponsor collection events for our employees' electronic waste.
• 30% post-consumer recycled paper is used in all offices, and we print double-sided by default. This keeps about 180,000 pounds of materials out of landfills each year.
